Appmedia Rankings Updated

Disclaimer: always take tier lists with a grain of salt.

I’m sure tweaks will continue to be made as experimentation with the two new supports goes on, but some interesting moves have already been implemented.

  • Many Buster Servants with strong skills on short CDs got a bump because of Koyanskaya
  • Servants like Sanzang and Douman benefit from getting full 100% charge on T1 thanks to that Append Skill
  • Quick’s comparative standing has taken a hit now that Buster has moved out of the ghetto. The only Quick Servants highly recommended currently are Douman and Kama

And much more.

Edit: AA is given the distinction of being the only SSS-ranked SSR attacker in the Haste category, at least for now.

What does that mean exctly?

Anyway, I’m kind of surprised Morgan is so high, I guess the 50% battery and Vitch’s release really put her on the map as a powerhouse despite Junao having much higher damage potential further exacerbated by Vitch.

Dang, kintoki is seen as a top tier now

Only metric I fully get is should be drawn though

What used to be just “High Difficulty” was separated into Durability and Haste some time ago so that endurance specialists weren’t constantly ignored.

Orbit = Looping potential or participation in looping systems.

That makes sense.

But despite that their list is still weird.

I really like Medb Saber but how in the world is she that close to Munenori?

Because she gets some actual refund from her NP, I imagine. Castoria really helps Servants like her.

Edit: Not that he doesn’t, but she should be slightly less card dependent overall.

I get a similar feeling - the Hikubeki category seems to lack a little in the differentiation stakes. In a lot of ways it’s the hardest one, since it ostensibly accounts for every single reason you could have to pull a Servant, including banner rarity and enabling unique builds, but it ends up feeling like a bit of a mish-mash without taking the other categories and your desired playstyles into account.

I think this is why there are usually so many SSRs in B and SRs in C. If the Servant seems either ultra-niche or just “good” rather than “great” for their rarity, that’s their hikubeki rating.

hallelujah finally a tier list that separates stall and TA ratings for servants

Habetrot goes BRRRRRRRR

Somewhat surprised to see Summer Kiara only getting B tier overall.

imo since medb saber is a pretty good semi support she kinda deserves that ranking

To be fair, no SR is currently ranked below C for hikubeki.

The standard rating for SSRs is B, though three are given C priority: Nightingale, Holmes, and Osakabehime.

So I guess the only way to play fgo outside of farming is blitz and stall?

Also thanks appmedia for telling me to ignore nearly every other aoe servant cause of AA. I was going to it anyway.

Oof what a fall from grace as the og ignore defense specialist. :fgo_sherlocksmug:

But wait C is considered the low end?Does availability plays into their recommendations?

Well…to your first point, farming, stall, and blitz do cover just about every strategy that is actually some kind of strategy

Though I don’t think Durability here is exclusively stall. Servants with good personal defensive ability tend to rate well there even if they are not necessarily top stall picks.

Conversely, someone like Himiko rates highly in Durability presumably because she overcharges Castoria.

As far as I can guess, availability has nothing to do with it (hence AA’s placement despite having had just one banner).

C for SSRs can be considered “not very good” or “pull only if you really like the Servant.” Alternatively, like with Holmes and Nightingale, it could mean “a top pick once in a blue moon.”

Medb didn’t deserve that disrespect :fgo_medb:

Why did skadi keep her 引くべき rank, yet the rest of her non stall ranks went down? :fgo_mhxastare:
