On September 30th, 1996, a man by the name of Kazuki Takahashi published the first chapter of the start of what can be said one of the biggest globally known trading card game known to mankind, “Yu-Gi-Oh!”, which spawned off as a result of people wanting to know more about the card game he created for one of the chapters he did within Yu-Gi-Oh’s serialization, first known as Magic and Wizards, and then more popularly and commonly known as Duel Monsters.

Throughout the years, many duels have been fought, many packs have been ripped, and many cardboard crack addicts have been born.

However as of this year, on July 4th, Kazuki Takahashi passed away.

I won’t say thank you for milking people of their money for the past 20 years, but I will say thank you for all the experiences and moments your work has created.
