She is the original Illya that was sealed inside Prisma Illya’s Illya and came back into existance by absorbing the Archer Class Card, which also gave her part of his abilities.

Or something like that, it’s been a while since i read Prillya.

The first seasons are hilarious and the latest one is quite enjoyable. The only bad thing is that we still don’t have a 5th season after so long since the manga is still on hiatus.
