Welcome to the Fate Requiem Collab discussion thread Here, you can talk the current event, Fate Requiem: Board Games of the Apocalypse, whether it’s about its story, gameplay, and anything else related.
Event Overview:
This event is a little unique compared to others, where they’ve introduced a board game with a layout similar to Monopoly. And just like Monopoly, you can move forward on the board by rolling dice that you’ve farmed from free quests. Each spot on the board will trigger a certain quest specific to that spot, and completing that quest will reward you with tokens.
Just like each spot will trigger a specific quest, the reward received from that quest will give you a specific token. There’s no limit to how many times you can go around the board, but there is a limit to the tokens you’ll receive each time you land on a certain spot. You also need to collect a certain set of tokens to unlock the main story quests and bonus quests, which the latter must be completed to get the welfare copies, command codes, and other rewards.
So… yeah. You can see how real ugly this can get if RNG refuses to let you land on a certain spot that’s needed to unlock the main quest/bonus quest. Fortunately for our sanity, there are rigged dice that you can obtain from the event shop and the free quests to a certain extent that’ll roll only a couple or one number. My advice would be to save those rigged dice until it’s looking like you’re about to go in circles trying to chase a spot. But at the same time, don’t hoard them like a dragon; they’re there to give you an enjoyable board game experience. This event is also looking to be more time-consuming compared to the usual events, with the amount of quests you have to do (free quests, main quests, bonus quests, board game quests, just end me already ), so be sure to not procrastinate much with this one.
