If I could be like that, I'd give anything

He spends his whole life being too young,
To live the life that he dreams
And now he lies awake and wonders
Why can’t that be me?
Cause in his life he’s filled with all these good intentions.
He’s left a lot of things he’d rather not mention right now.
Just before he says goodnight,
He looks up with a little smile at me and he says

If I could be like that
I’d would give anything
Just to live one day
In those shoes.
If I could be like that, what would I do?
What would I do?

Are we sharing poems? I make those, sometimes.

Watching me from the other side, Looking so different but still part of the same mind.

Feelings that thrive slowy bide, showing the truth but the simple eye cant find the hive.

A nest of crows and a home limited to time, an element of light will eventually question life.

You have seen it havent you, watching me from the other side.

The stain marked it, slowly eating away the fine line that confides.

Lies told become the truth as false wings cause a smile.

Maybe holding you close can cave in the walls and bile.

I am watching through the same eyes on the other side.
