She looks pretty good. Pitted against a Divine enemy she effectively has Zerk advantage and an NP you can probably make loop(too tired to do the math).

Also effective 50% battery once appended.

Funny how JP gets Himiko’s successor for free right when she got released on NA

She looks like a thinner palette swap Himiko.

Kitwise, she feels like the AoE version version of Astrea with an anti divine/wild beast niche. Definitely a nice addition as a welfare given how good Astrea is. Her being able to loop will just be a bonus at this point.

If she can loop her NP, those curse damage will be nasty. 4k first turn, 9k second turn, 16k third turn, that’s almost 30k free damage on 3 turns.

Hybrid dps/support seems the name of the game this Guda Guda

Keisuke I think does strike the balance amazingly.
Rikyu does less good as support but works great as dps I feel

But Iyo… Not a fan. Really wish she did a bit more for support. Wild Beast is a small group, and if you’d run Iyo over another support she’d need to really pull her weight and I think she should have like a little bit more.

That being said, vs divine Iyo is gonna shine. Having high uptime special damage, and basicly 38% arts up half the time with a strong burst turn skill and a combo of multiplicative stacking.
She does fine.

However this once again makes me wish there was more QoL stuff regarding traits in the game

In conclusion. She does fine, but she’s not for me. I like my hybrids focus on support and having dps second.
Himiko kinda does it by being a well kitted 5*, Iyo falls short in that part.

She should loop well enough based on her buffed card effectiveness and hit count. Her refund potential is higher than that of some top Arts Servants, and she has a stackable buff that activates with her NP to help with damage, like a diet version of Space Ishtar’s steroid.

I’m actually kind of excited for this welfare.

That passive gives her the wild beast trait. So dont view her as a support so much as an NP looping farmer/ Anti Divine crit DPS. If she does have a wild beast teammate thats fine but the buffs really meant for her.

Yeah I guess that’s true

It’s just a style of unit designing they’ve been doing lately that I don’t like
Well, they have been doing it for a while.
Where units have some slight support effect even if they’re really supposed to be mostly selfishly used with two pure supports.

Kinda why I like Keisuke is that he’s a support with alright damage to make you not skip his face cards. I don’t say that’s better, just something I prefer.

Other Wild Beast Servants include Jaguar Warrior, Ivan, Red Hare, Dobrynya, Daikokuten, Tamamo Cat, Atalante Alter, Hessian Lobo, and Koyanskaya of Darkness.

A bunch of these Servants already have Crit Buffs and I can’t think of many team comps that would use multiple Wild Beast Servants. Like maybe Iyo and 2 of the Riders against an all Assassin Node. If you’re only supporting one Wild Beast Servant, then there are better dedicated Support options.

Can you do that with welfares though? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
