Lucina's Lionhearted Knight

He just needs the right person to follow
(Theory Craft)

(with the remaining spots being filled with at least one high res archer/dagger unit)

If I do some maths, with all the effects Lucina gives…
Eldy will have on enemy phase against close range enemies:
64/30/62/53

I’m counting 52 Res though

And 63 Atk :tooobin:

Atk
52 + 6 (Oath) + 3 (Lull) = 61 on his own
61 + 3 (Geirskögul) = 64 Atk

Res
25 + 12 (2x Close Def) + 3 (lull) + 6 (Oath)= 46 on his own
46 + 3 (Geirskögul) + 4 (Close Guard) = 53 Res

Yup, Lucina is important since it’s options so many mixed teams options
Like bonfire booms on Eldigan and Michalis.

Every Theory Craft with Eldigan in it is a good one

I often find myself thinking ‘Exalted Chrom does that better’ with Eldigan.

But here, it’s differend. It makes use out of the one big thing Eldigan has that Chrom doesn’t. Slayer.

I have a couple of suggestions!
Maybe instead of drive def, do spur def/res? Especially if he’s countering close range units, why would Lucina be 2 spaces away?
Also, don’t forget potential buffs from the games other top tier support: Marth! Running buffcion and two drives, you can get +8 to any stat you’d like, and it does stack with Lucy.

Not bad ideas but I have a few reasons for not doing them.

I pick drive to keep the flexibility.
All of Lucina’s support effects already reach 2 range, so keeping that makes positioning the two easier.

As for Marth… biggest issue is his overlap with Eldigan as a sword unit. And Lucina has his second gimmick covered as dragon slayer.

So I’d rather go for support like:
F!Robin (give Eldigan another C skill, Robin can buff + check ranged colorless/blues)
Saias/Arvis (with another unit filling green. For debuff and mage baiting)

I know I’m beating a dead horse by saying this, but:

You,killing Dimitri for his B-skill? :eyes:

Also,I just checked:The Oath skills can’t be inherited to cavalries; only Infantry and Fliers. :pensive:

It’s mostly for theory.
But if my Dimitri is +hp or +res, I might.

Or ofc if another unit gets it.

Too bad about oath
