I will say I was originally worried about the game not being balanced cause of these rings in engage giving me free stats and 3 turns of super forms but nah they definitely thought about it. Fuck some maps just are rude.
Here you get 8 units to deploy, meanwhile game is like alright here’s 30-40 dude also map gimmicks and reinforcements have fun bitch

Also I miss EO5 after starting up EO4.
Having an overworld to fly around is fun but running around FOEs isn’t since they’re way over my weight group. Also the combat and walking speed is really slow. Thought it’s quite the sight to see an FOE right out of the gate in the first (mini) dungeon you’re thrown into.
Though it sucks I can’t cheese my way out like I did with EO5 through using Pugilist early on. Also sucks there’s limited customization here too.
It’s a nice game though and I am hooked.
