For a FPS I chose Metroid Prime, it’s more into the adventure genre but still good enough to be a FPS of sorts

Yeah, I’ve heard fans of that game call it a “instant classic”. Though I’m not sure if I’ll want to jump on that after i finish DOOM 2016. I’m interested in the classic versions as I’ve heard they’re “must plays”.

I think Doom can be played on a WAD emulator (it’s a strange file format I know nothing about except that some of the games of the series were made for it)
