So since Melty Blood is coming out, and the date for the final smash bros reveal has been set on the SAME exact day as the Nicktoons fighting game, why not start a fighting game thread so people can get hyped and find people to 1 V 1 online?
Game trailers, FGC scrub quotes, old fighting game, tech vids, and trying to find people to fight in a game, and other stuff is fine, but no toxic stuff or anything that goes against GP’s TOS
So anyway, got touhou Antonymy of common flowers for the switch a week ago, and hot damm, I forgot how fun these games were, it more or less being beginner friendly helps too since even my mom can play it
Also finally managed to get an arcade stick for it, not bad at $90 USD, even has wireless options and PC compatible, so great, bit of a downside is that I think it might have a square restrictor plate so I might have to hot swap that out one of these days

I think my very first fighting game was fate unlimited codes on my psp. Sadly most of my friends either didn’t have a psp or was already broken, so i just played with my one friend who happened to still have a working one, lucky for me he was really into fate.
I’ve also played melty blood and under night, the former i played a lot but the latter I’ve played very little. Probabaly wasn’t a good idea for me to try to learn Yuzuriha as a newbie, she’s insanely difficult.

Here I thought Ryougi felt out of place in Melty Blood, Saber being in Type Lumina just feels wrong, she’s literally got zero connections in there.

Yes, the above was spurred on by me playing Melty online, it’s fun BTW, the training challenges are a bit of a pain, but they’re useful, and I love how they actually teach you how to do stuff. I remember playing I think KOF 98 with family, and that didn’t each anything. Fun tho.
But yeah, love it, and runs smooth as hell so far. Been maining Noel in the online mode so far
