That’s an intersting take, given that it is probably the “”"""“canon”""""" version (cf warriors, smash…)
I kinda disagree though, as the whole point of the story was : there are two sides which are(or at least should’ve been) both “right” (but the story is heavily hoshido biased and garon kinda ruins nohr so yeah…)
They improved a bit on three houses but I think the duality between two different “morally right” sides is probably the closest we got to a non manichean world so imo it still deserved route split despite the heavy narration flaws.
