Hey guys! Just curious if there is a writer’s group here in GP for FE, how many of you write stories, and so on. Thought it might be fun to discuss. I’m currently writing a story that’s all my own but based on many of the characters in 3H, and its seems I’ve been hitting it nonstop.

@Arco-di-Sacae you know what i mean my man, lol. FYI this guy has been giving me great feedback.

I’m a writer for pass time but I’m terrible at staying focused and sticking to a story. But I have had a recent 3H idea so… yeah.

Right on! I hope to share some of my stuff, trade questions, and so on. Flesh out characters if nothing else. The character I was inspired by Edelgard has been mega-tricky to unpack.

Well, Edelgard herself is quite tricky so that’s to be expected. Though, I don’t do many OC characters, it’s either self insert or just one OC. I try not to go to far from original stories either. Not that confident.

I wouldn’t say I’m a good storyteller perse honestly if it wasn’t for Calamilex I wouldn’t be as interested as I am now

I’ve written one (1) fan fiction around Fire Emblem, and it was fairly self indulgent. I have other ideas but I haven’t gotten around to writing anything out. So if there is a thread for people to share ideas or encourage each other through the process I’d be on board.

Changed to the lounge, thank you for your inputs gentlemen. Only slight regrets considering my focus is strictly FE, but that said, I’m okay with whoever wants in. Just dont want to eliminate anyone.

And if it dies, it’s all good. Just a passing thought I had. I might turn it into a group if I bother figuring out how to do that lol.

You can change the subcategory if you use the edit button on the bottom of the OP like you’re editing the text then changing the subcategory from there

The OP can change the category exactly like mods, there’s just only one option instead of two oh so long ago.

Yeah, after I played 3H, I immediately sat down and wrote about 100 pages of story. I took a break after that specifically because I had to flesh out how I wanted to make my Edelgard-inspired character.

She is the quintessential example of a character I LOVED, and so much HATED (at least her decisions and actions). I mean, placing myself in the story as if it were real life, I would’ve been smitten with her and her personality and so on, but there is no way I could’ve sided with her. I did in the game, of course.

But I had to flesh out WHY someone would do those drastic actions, and imo, her excuses were poor, even in spite of her PTSD and trauma.

I tried twice but it wouldn’t take. I even had it selected, but when I refreshed it went back to this.

My error, I am sure, but I’ve reached the limits of my tech savvy lol
